Prep enrolments for 2026 in Victorian government primary schools commence at the start of Term 2, 2025 (Tuesday 22 April 2025).

Conducted by our Principal or our Assistant Principals, school tours are a wonderful way to see the school in action. Find out more about the philosophy in teaching and learning at Templestowe Park and view our excellent facilities. This is a great opportunity to learn about the benefits of our school.
We conduct both individual and group tours at Templestowe Park. The individual tours can be made for a time that is mutually convenient and the group tours are held regularly on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 9.30am.
We are currently accepting expression of interest from prospective parents from within or outside of our zone for Prep 2026. This will inform the school of your interest of attending Templestowe Park, allow us to keep you updated with important information, provide notice of our pre-Prep activities at the school and allow us to send you an enrolment form when applications open in Term 2.

This is, for many children, their first opportunity to spend time at school. Come along with your child and chat with the Principal, Assistant Principal and other parents while your child experiences Sport, Art and Music in a fun and interactive manner.

Allow your child to experience the excitement and wonder of Science as a ‘Young Einstein’. Your child will have the opportunity to be a scientist for a day in our innovative STEM room.

These weekly sessions are only available to students who have enrolled at the school to commence their Prep year in 2026. Children will become familiar with the classroom environment while getting to know the teachers and the other children who will be a part of their school life. At the same time, parents will meet with the Principal and others to learn more about life at Templestowe Park and our welcoming community.

The final session in the Prep Transition Program is scheduled for one and a quarter hours as opposed to the previous one hour sessions. This gives your child the chance to meet their 2026 Prep teacher and spend time with them and their new classmates.
All children starting school at Prep Level are required by Government legislation to have an immunisation certificate. These certificates are available from a myGov account, which is linked to Medicare.
