Dear parents, carers and community members,
It is my pleasure to warmly welcome you to Templestowe Park Primary School. We are a community that truly lives our school values of Respect, Responsibility, Integrity, Pride and Optimism.
When selecting a school for your child it is essential that this learning community reflects the same expectations, aspirations and values of your own family. At Templestowe Park we provide an environment that produces outstanding academic outcomes and develops your child’s social and emotional growth.
Our teaching and learning programs are designed to ensure that your child excels at the fundamentals of Literacy and Numeracy, as well as the essential skills of creativity, collaboration and communication.
The focus on the development of the whole child is paramount in everything we do at Templestowe Park PS. That is why we have an extensive wellbeing program based on the principles of Positive Psychology and a comprehensive curriculum that includes specialist classes in STEM, Physical Education, Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Sustainability, Chinese (Mandarin), and a substantial enrichment/support and extra-curricular programs.
Templestowe Park is regularly recognised as a leading school in Victoria by the Department of Education and has been named in the highest overall performance group in 2025. This indicates that student outcomes are high across a wide range of learning and wellbeing measures. In 2025, Templestowe Park was named as an ‘Outstanding School’ in the Maths Talent Quest (MTQ) and had three state champions in this prestigious competition. In 2023, TPPS was named as a finalist in the Victorian Education Excellence Awards for our outstanding provision for high ability students and in 2024 our Senior Boys Basketball Team were named State Champions. We are extremely proud of the achievements of our students, staff and the TPPS community.
Our parents and community are an essential element of our school. Parents participate in all facets of school life, and we value the support, expertise and skills that our community provides.
I encourage you to explore our school website and I invite you to book a tour of our school. I look forward to welcoming you and your family as members of the Templestowe Park PS learning community.
Yours sincerely,
