Chloe (Gr 5) and Charlotte (Gr 2) were recently recognised for their outstanding work. Chloe was shortlisted in the Red Room Poetry competition. This competition invites students and teachers to use their words to make positive climate action.
Chloe’s poem titled, ‘Another Grain of Sand’ was shortlisted from over 5,400 entries. To put this into context, there were only 12 poems shortlisted in the Upper Primary section. To read Chloe’s beautiful poem, please click

We are also happy to announce that Charlotte was awarded the ‘NAIDOC Medal of Excellence’ (one of 25 awarded across Victoria) for the outstanding picture she coloured in for the NAIDOC Week national schools competition. Our Grade Prep – 2 students entered the colouring in competition and our Grade 3-6 students, the poetry writing competition.
