MAV Grade 6 Maths Games Day Champions!

Our talented Grade 6 mathematicians performed extremely well at the Maths Association of Victoria (MAV) Grade 6 Maths Games Day and won the prestigious event. Congratulations to Blake, Austin, Lowgethan and Ciarin on this outstanding achievement.

Over 48 teams from Government and Independent Schools competed in the event at Genazzano College in Kew.  Teams of 4 competed against each other in problem solving activities, mental maths and automatic response challenges, as well as probability games. Congratulations to our winning team and we would like to acknowledge and thank the entire Grade 5&6 team of teachers who have worked hard preparing and supporting our students in weekly problem-solving instruction.
